Watch this Space (You’ll be Glad you Did)

It may have been quiet on the blog front these last two weeks, but that doesn’t mean I’ve been inactive. Far from it, in fact! I’ve been hard at work with the wonderful Lisa Casson (aka Creative Addict) designing and setting up a website, and I can tell you it’s going to be spectacular.

Spectacular,  spɛkˈtækjʊlə , adj. of or resembling a spectacle; impressive, grand, or dramatic:  unusually marked or great. –n. a lavishly produced performance.

My Devotional blog, which many of you have been following, will form part of the website, but there’ll be many more posts on a variety of topics:—book reviews; writing-craft ideas; parenting articles, to name but a few. You’ll also be able to read about the Fantasy trilogy and Children’s book that I am currently working on, and I’ll keep you all up to date on publishing dates.

I’m particularly excited to be launching my first e-book on my website. “The King’s Quiver” is a selection of my short stories and—for a while—will be available as a download from the site. Already, I’ve had some very positive reviews from those who have had a sneak preview at the book. Here’s just one of them:

"Joan Campbell's use of perspective, voice, imagery, and creativity make her writing authentic and unique. Don't miss the chance to see the world in a new light by reading her works."—Susan G Mathis, author of The ReMarriage Adventure and Countdown for Couples (Focus on the Family books)
So, I hope you’ll forgive me the small lull in blog posts, and I trust I’ve whetted your appetite enough to make sure you keep watching this space! I can’t wait to share the launch with you all!
